Meg Gerhard is Painter on canvas and graphical computer. Ceramist. Bachelor of Arts. She started in the plastic arts, making ceramic sculpture, to later commit to the painting on canvas. In 1973, she studied Architecture and Urbanism at UNISINOS, São Leopoldo / RS. Then, she participated in the Ceramics / Sculpture course at the Atelier do MAA Curitiba / PR in 1987. On the same year, she went to São Paulo / SP where she studied Sculpture with Leo Távolla and Ceramic Enamels/Varnish with Vilma Villaverde. She graduated in Arts Education with emphasis in Computer Graphics from the UTP in 1997. Some of her works are: Homo Operandi–Forma Pensamento SESC DA ESQUINA Curitiba/PR, Espaço Arte Anjo da Guarda Curitiba/PR, EVERARTS São Paulo/SP (bronze medal), Arte em Evolução UTP Curitiba/PR, the Book and Project “Muros Visuais de Curitiba” APAP/PR edition; the exhibition Brasil 500 anos Paris/France. Her work was selected to become part of the collection of the Universitè de Poitiers Lyon/France. Some of her works are in collections in Brazil, Argentina, Canada and France.
