Plastic artist and sculptor. Leopoldino de Abreu began his artistic work at a young age. When he was 13 years old, he received an Honorable Mention at his 1st Collective Exhibition at the Galeria Andrade de Lima Curitiba / PR. He completed the Superior Course of Music and Fine Arts in EMBAP / PR and Marble Sculpture with Cícero D'Avila in São Paulo / SP and in Pietrasanta and Massa Carrara / Italy. He also studied in France, Spain and Portugal. He has participated in several exhibitions and earned awards, such as 1º Prêmio Salão Nacional de Artes do Curitibano–2007, Honorable Mention at the Museu Alfredo Andersen Curitiba/PR–2008, Casa Cor Panamá–2010, Casa Cor Paraná 2011, 12,15,16. Solo exposition at the Museu Guido Viaro Curitiba/PR–2014. Collective exposition Galeria Riviso Curitiba/PR–2014, Solo exposition at the Curitibano Curitiba/PR–2016, XX Bienal Internacional de Curitiba “Luz do Mundo”–2015, XXI Bienal Internacional de Curitiba “Antípodas”–2017, Collective exhibition at the FIEP Curitiba/PR–2018. Works in collections in Brazil, Panama, United States and Portugal.
