Marisa Vidigal is a Naif painter (in french means naive). She keeps her essence of spontaneity, freedom of expression, vivid colors, absence of depth and lack of commitment to proportion. Her art portrays everyday scenes with purity. She participated in several art shows (displays) in Brazil and other countries, such as Buenos Aires/Argentina, Cracow/Poland, Ceuta/Spain, Rome/Italy, Naples/Italy, New York/USA and Porto/Portugal. Marisa Vidigal has received several awards, among which stand out Gold and Silver Medals in Araras/SP, Rio de Janeiro/RJ and Arceburgo/MG; 1º prize in the XX Salão de Artes do Curitibano Curitiba/PR. Her work has been published in many magazines and books, specially, Antologia Ítalo-Brasileira di Lettere Ed Arti “Dal Collosseo al Corcovado”- Rome (Italy); the book “Naif no Paraná” - Edição Solar do Rosário; the book “Muros Visuais de Curitiba” with the participation of 100 artists - Edição APAP/PR. Her work has been praised by art critics, such as Oscar D’Ambrósio, Nilza Procopiak e Fabrício Vaz Nunes.
